Part 27: Coco Buys Tree for her Office
Part 27: Coco Buys Tree for her Office
Panel 1:
- Visual: Cocoa’s glass-walled office. Dave and a sweating delivery person are struggling to maneuver a massive, towering, expensive-looking indoor tree (like a giant Ficus) through the door. Cocoa is sitting on her desk, directing them with a single, authoritative paw.
- Cocoa: “Careful with the foliage. It is a ‘Biophilic Workspace Enhancement’.”
Panel 2:
- Visual: Dave is holding a long receipt, his eyes wide with shock. Cocoa is already sniffing the trunk of the tree with intense, predatory focus.
- Dave: “Cocoa, this tree cost three thousand dollars?! HR is going to have questions!”
- Cocoa: “Productivity requires nature, David. Now leave me to inspect it.”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Total destruction. Cocoa is vertically clinging to the trunk, claws fully extended, shredding the bark with extreme prejudice. A shower of green leaves is raining down around her. Sarah and Chloe are watching from the doorway, face-palming in unison.
- Sarah: “And there goes the security deposit.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: The aftermath. The bottom half of the tree is completely stripped of leaves and bark, looking like a giant, ruined scratching post. Cocoa is perched triumphantly on the highest remaining branch, looking down at her domain. Dave is in the background, holding a tiny dustpan and looking utterly defeated.
- Dave: (Sighing) “I’ll add ‘arborist’ to my job description.”
- Caption: At WhiskerCart, interior design is strictly functional.
