Part Twenty Three – Coco Takes A Day Off
Panel 1:
- Visual: The WhiskerCart office entrance. Coco is standing there wearing tiny, chic sunglasses and a sun hat, holding a miniature leather suitcase. Dave, Sarah, and Chloe look absolutely shocked.
- Coco: “I am taking a personal day. Do not contact me unless the building is on fire. Or if there is tuna.”
Panel 2:
- Visual: The office the next day. It is eerily peaceful and bright. Dave, Sarah, and Chloe are typing efficiently at their desks with smiles on their faces. Buster is wearing reading glasses, calmly and neatly sorting a stack of mail.
- Dave: “It’s so quiet… we’ve actually cleared the entire Q3 backlog.”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Coco at her luxury cat tree at home. She looks incredibly bored and restless, staring at a laser pointer dot on the wall, sighing heavily. A half-eaten bowl of premium food is ignored next to her.
- Coco (Thought Bubble): “If I don’t push a glass off a desk soon, I might actually relax. Disgusting.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: Coco bursts through the office doors the next morning. She immediately leaps onto Dave’s desk and swats a neat stack of papers onto the floor. Dave, Sarah, and Chloe look up and visibly relax, smiling with relief.
- Dave: “Thank goodness. The productivity was giving me anxiety.”
