Part 28: After Work Drinks
Panel 1:
- Visual: The WhiskerCart team is at a trendy, dimly lit pub. Dave, Sarah, and Chloe are clinking their cocktail glasses, looking relaxed. Cocoa is sitting elegantly on a barstool, and Buster is sitting patiently next to her, wearing a tiny bandana.
- Dave: “Alright team, great quarter! First round is on the company card!”
Panel 2:
- Visual: Buster has abandoned his seat. He is now sitting at the end of the bar, staring intensely at a very confused, tough-looking biker. Buster is vibrating with anticipation, staring at the biker’s basket of onion rings.
- Buster (Thought Bubble): “I will love you forever if you drop one fry.”
- Biker: “Uh… your dog is vibrating at me.”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Cocoa is perched on the actual bar top. She is slowly, deliberately pushing a very fancy, very expensive-looking cocktail (with a tiny umbrella) off the edge, maintaining unbroken eye contact with the horrified bartender.
- Bartender: “Ma’am, please! That’s a $16 Espresso Martini…”
- Cocoa: “Gravity check.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: The aftermath at the register. Dave is looking at a massive bill, sweating profusely. In the background, Buster is passed out happily on a booth seat, and Cocoa is fast asleep inside Sarah’s oversized tote bag.
- Dave: “So… we’re paying for the martini, the onion rings, and a ‘cleaning fee’?”
- Caption: At WhiskerCart, the happy hour tab is always a surprise.
