Part Sixteen – Thanksgiving Prep
Part Sixteen – Thanksgiving Prep
Panel 1:
- Visual: The WhiskerCart breakroom is being prepped for a massive Thanksgiving dinner with key suppliers. Dave and Sarah are arranging a giant Cornucopia centerpiece on a long table. In walks Mr. Gobbles, a Turkey supplier in a sharp suit, and Mr. Oink, a Pig supplier in a tweed jacket.
- Dave: “Alright, the suppliers are here! Let’s make this Thanksgiving dinner look professional.”
Panel 2:
- Visual: Buster is in the kitchen area. He is sitting in a fierce, protective “guard dog” stance over a massive, raw 25-pound turkey on the counter. He is giving a low, warning growl at Mr. Oink (the pig supplier), who is holding a bag of stuffing mix.
- Buster: “Nobody touches the bird. It’s under my protection.”
- Mr. Oink: “I just wanted to check the stuffing…”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Cocoa is “helping” with the centerpiece. She has completely climbed inside the giant woven Cornucopia basket, shredding the decorative autumn leaves and fake gourds with her claws. She looks incredibly focused and is mid-scratch.
- Sarah: “Cocoa, please! That’s the centerpiece!”
- Cocoa (Thought Bubble): “Must… destroy… the fake pumpkin.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: The aftermath. The breakroom is a disaster zone. The Cornucopia is destroyed. Buster is happily chewing on a raw drumstick in the corner. Cocoa is fast asleep inside the empty, shredded basket. Dave and Sarah are on the phone with a pizza place, looking exhausted, while the Turkey and Pig suppliers look on in absolute horror.
- Dave (on phone): “Yeah, hi. We need 40 large pepperoni pizzas. No, don’t ask.”
- Caption: At WhiskerCart, the food chain comes first.
