This is a fantastic 4-part arc! Introducing a new human employee is the perfect way to show the WhiskerCart office through fresh eyes. It highlights just how absurd the “normal” day-to-day operations really are.
Here are the scripts for Parts 18 through 21. Let me know if you want to tweak any of the details before we start drawing!
Part 18: Thanksgiving Dinner
(Title “Paws in the Boardroom” at the top. “Thanksgiving Dinner” in the bottom right corner.)
Panel 1:
- Visual: The WhiskerCart breakroom. Everyone is sitting around the long dining table, looking incredibly full and satisfied. The table is a mess of picked-clean turkey bones, the shredded remains of the cornucopia, and stacks of greasy pizza boxes.
- Dave: (Patting his stomach) “You know, the pepperoni pizza actually paired really nicely with the stuffing.”
Panel 2:
- Visual: Close-up on Mr. Gobbles (the Turkey supplier) and Mr. Oink (the Pig supplier). They are sitting side-by-side, looking slightly traumatized but politely eating slices of pizza.
- Mr. Oink: “I’ve never been so relieved to eat a meatless option.”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Buster is under the table, completely passed out in a food coma, wearing a tiny pilgrim hat that is slightly askew. A slice of pizza crust is resting on his nose.
- Sarah: “I think the CFO has officially entered a tryptophan-induced coma.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: Cocoa is sitting at the head of the table, looking pristine and regal. She is delicately eating a single piece of pepperoni off a paper plate.
- Cocoa: “I accept your gratitude. Now, someone clear the table. I need a sunbeam.”
- Caption: At WhiskerCart, the food chain comes first.
