Part Nineteen – Training
Panel 1:
- Visual: Dave is sitting next to Chloe at her new desk, pointing at a computer monitor showing the WhiskerCart backend software.
- Dave: “Okay, so this is how you process a customer return. It’s pretty straightforward…”
Panel 2:
- Visual: Cocoa suddenly jumps onto the desk, landing directly on the keyboard. The screen changes to a bunch of gibberish text. Dave sighs in the background.
- Dave: “And this is how the CEO ‘helps’ with data entry.”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Cocoa pushes a fancy gold pen to the edge of the desk. She looks at Chloe, then looks at the pen, then back at Chloe.
- Cocoa: “Forget the software. This is your real training. Step one: Eye contact. Step two: The swat.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: Chloe hesitantly reaches out and pushes the pen off the desk. Cocoa nods approvingly and hands Chloe a small, fancy bowl of premium cat treats.
- Cocoa: “Excellent form. Here is your first bonus.”
- Chloe: (Holding the cat treats) “Do I… eat these?”
