Part Twenty Two – Run out of Coffee
In Part Twenty Two – Run out of Coffee
Panel 1:
- Visual: The WhiskerCart breakroom. Dave, Sarah, and Chloe are standing in a line, looking like absolute zombies (dark circles under their eyes, slumped posture). They are staring in despair at a completely empty, burnt coffee pot.
- Dave: “It’s 9:15 AM. The system is down. We have no caffeine. We are doomed.”
Panel 2:
- Visual: The trio slowly turns their heads to look at Cocoa, who is sitting regally at her desk in the main office. Next to her is a massive, pristine, steaming mug of coffee labeled “Premium Executive Blend.”
- Chloe: (Whispering) “Does the CEO have the last cup?”
Panel 3:
- Visual: Dave approaches Cocoa’s desk, holding out an empty mug with a desperate, pleading expression. Cocoa stares at him with unblinking, deadpan eyes, then slowly extends one paw toward her massive mug.
- Dave: “Cocoa, please. Just a sip. For the sake of the shareholders.”
Panel 4:
- Visual: Crash! The massive mug is shattered on the floor, coffee splashed everywhere. Cocoa is already sitting a few feet away, casually grooming her paw. Dave, Sarah, and Chloe are on their hands and knees, desperately trying to lap up the spilled coffee puddle from the carpet.
- Cocoa: “Sharing is for dogs.”
- Caption: At WhiskerCart, survival of the fittest applies to caffeine.
